Week 3

Selamat Pagi (Good morning)

I hope you all are getting close to finishing the written activities from Week 1 and Week 2. Please bring your completed activities to school when you are back. I am hoping the Year 2 - 6 finished activities can be displayed in your classrooms and the PP and Year 1 books can be used in class for counting in Indonesian.

PP and Year 1

Activity: Make sure you finish off the Indonesian counting book from Week 1 and 2 if it is not finished.
The activity was to make a book and each page is for a different number in Indonesian. Draw that many objects on each page.
PP: Numbers 1 - 5: satu, dua, tiga, empat and lima
Year 1: Numbers 1 - 10: satu, dua, tiga, empat, lima, enam, tujuh, delapan, sembilan and sepuluh

Watch and try: This is an Indonesian form of exercise called Poco Poco

Languages Online: Try any activities under the topics of Colours, Numbers and Greetings. If any activities are too difficult press the arrow in the right hand bottom corner and it takes you to the next activity.

Year 2 and Year 3

Activity: Make sure you finish the activity from Week 1 and 2 if it is not finished yet. The activity was to draw a picture of your family and label it. Words needed are available here: Family words. Make sure your picture has an Indonesian title and colour in your family.

Year 4, Year 5 and Year 6

Written activity:
Year 4 and Year 5 Activity: Make sure you finish the drawing of one family member and create a minimum of six sentences about this person. Give your picture a title in Indonesian, write each sentence on a new line and then colour your picture.

Year 6 Activity: Make sure you finish off drawing and colouring the picture of your family and labeling it (make sure you label yourself with 'saya'). Write a minimum of six sentences about your family and write each sentence on a new line. Use my examples as a guide and change some of the words around using the Indonesian word lists below. Do not use google translate to write your sentences it is only for individual words that you can't find in the lists.

Extra activities (optional)

If you didn't get to make the Congklak board. Here is how you can make your own at home using an old egg carton. You can use rocks, shells or beads to play with.
